Donezo Task App — Privacy Policy

Donezo Task App helps you schedule and track recurring maintenance and household tasks with iCloud sync. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to power the app. This page explains what we store, how we use it, and your choices.

Data We Collect

• Task Data: Task titles, schedules, repeat settings, optional notes, optional web links, and grouping labels (e.g., Garage, Basement).
• Completion History: Dates you mark tasks complete and any optional notes you add.
• Sync Information: If you enable iCloud sync, the app stores the task database in your personal iCloud account (CloudKit) and may store minimal metadata required to keep your devices in sync.
• Imported Data: Content you import via CSV is stored locally/iCloud the same as any other task data.

How We Use Your Data

• To power the app’s core features: creating, scheduling, and completing tasks with reminders.
• To sync and back up your data across devices using iCloud when enabled.
• To restore your data if you reinstall the app or switch devices.

Where Your Data Lives

• On your devices: Stored locally using Apple’s Core Data storage.
• In your iCloud account (optional): When iCloud sync is enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud (CloudKit) database tied to your Apple ID. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
• No developer servers: We do not operate our own servers for your task data.

Data Retention

• Your task and history data remain until you delete them in the app or remove the app/iCloud data.
• Backups you create (e.g., exported files) remain wherever you save them until you choose to delete them.
• Temporary diagnostic logs (if any) are short‑lived and remain on your device.

Security

• All iCloud communication uses secure, encrypted connections. iCloud also encrypts data at rest per Apple’s standards.
• We follow platform best practices and only store the minimum data required for functionality.

No Third‑Party Sharing

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
• The app does not include advertising SDKs or analytics trackers.

Your Choices & Rights

• You can add, edit, or delete tasks and history at any time.
• You can disable iCloud sync in the app or in iOS Settings > iCloud if you prefer to keep data only on device.
• You can export/import task data via CSV for your own backup workflows.
• You may delete the app or remove its iCloud data to erase stored information. If you need assistance, contact us.
